Chip Maye - Sr. Pastor
Prior to coming to RHBC, Chip and his family served as missionaries in Kenya, Africa with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Chip’s passion is Discipleship. His desire is to see each church member growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ and actively making Jesus known to others. Chip is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College and the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. Chip also currently serves as President of Gethsemane International, Inc. - a mission organization that provides nurturing, Christian homes for once abandoned and orphaned children in Africa. Chip is blessed with a wonderful wife and six terrific children.
Jeremy‘s passion and love for students has served as his driving force in ministry for over 9 years. Prior to RHBC, Jeremy served as student pastor at Buffalo Baptist in Rutledge Tn, First Baptist Church in St. Mary’s Ga, and Montvue Baptist in Morristown, Tn. God has blessed Jeremy with a wonderful wife, Susie, and two beautiful children, Emily and Ethan. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. degree in religion. He is currently finishing his seminary degree at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremy’s life verse comes from John 16:33,” I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Outside of ministry, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family and watching Tennessee football and basketball. His hobbies include: soccer, biking, hiking, and ATV riding. Favorite quote comes from Albert Einstein, “You cannot continue doing the same thing and expect different results.”
Steven grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania before coming to Knoxville. He is a graduate of Johnson Bible College. His passions include spending time with his wife, singing, playing, and writing music, and serving others in the name of Christ. He and his wife are expecting their first child this August.
Pat and her husband Glenn are originally from Memphis. They have lived in East Tennessee for more than 25 years. Pat loves serving the Lord and Ministering to others. She enjoys her family and her grandchildren especially.
